Welcome to

SYLVANHOWL

Where stories inspire, legends become reality and those who dwell are elusive.

Welcome

to the wildwood

This exploration is born from my curious mind. A mind open to experiencing the enigmas of the world. From the certainty that there’s more to it than a first glance reveals.

What if all we knew of the world was not what we assumed? What if everything we thought is shaped by a one dimensional, narrow perspective? What if an intelligent, elusive being dwells in the forests of the world? What if we could learn and evolve to be higher beings. Through being open enough to consider every possibility. Do we share our world with so much more than we can readily see, hear, feel, or touch?

A lot of what if’s, I know. All I ask is you open your mind and join me as we seek the answers.

We are the trees

Hidden wonders

Without trees nothing else would be. They are the pinnacle and creators of the forest ecosystem. They give a great deal; food, shelter, shade and concealment. They elicit respect and at a very basic level the understanding that they are living.

All things in this world are delicately balanced. All things are inter-connected, the web of life, united. Affect one and you affect all and this includes humankind. The effects ripple out into the wider environment. We humans have the means to preserve or destroy and this journey is dedicated to the former.

Forever into the radiance of the forest with all that call it home.

Across the Veil

The road less travelled

Woodland by it’s very nature evokes mystery, an air of magic. For centuries humans have gone to the forest to seek solitude and healing. Beneath the green boughs, humankind has wandered and continues to be inspired by the flora and fauna. These special places are held within our soul. It should come as no suprise that other ‘Beings’ dwell here.

The forest is full of mysterious wonders which most humans will never encounter. Or, if they do their mind assigns them to our fellow kin. On the other hand the curious and open minded find it hard to unsee an out of place object or shape.

And so begins a journey into the unknown.

Believe in the magic, it’s all around. Be open to the possibility there’s more to the world than what’s before your eyes. Allow the magic to flow and enter life and you may get many suprises.

Where the Wildman roams

There’s no doubt in my mind there are many entities in this world we have little knowledge or experience of. Always be curious, look, listen, be consciously aware, be still. Have the utmost respect and always be open and learning. In this way we will receive, not only learning about the natural world, the seen and unseen but also about ourselves.
